Dear Thom,
I was in California this past weekend but unfortunately had to miss your Coachella set. It was my little brother’s wedding! I also had a pass to your after-party DJ set but had to miss that as well. I was on the plane back to New York!
I really hope that one of these days our schedules will work out. I know how hard it is to get a hold of me, especially since I’m not a phone person. But I hope you know, Thom, that no matter what, I will always support your art. Keep pluggin’ away at it, ole boy, and never mind what your parents, brothers, and relatives say about law school and finance. I believe in you!
Sincerely yours,
Elisia
Dear Thom,
Ever thought about what makes the difference between a “B” or “C” class groupie and an “A” rate groupie? What are the five distinct points that can really elevate the success of an aspiring career groupie?
Just trying to plan my retirement….
Sincerely,
Robert

Dear Radiohead,
Sometimes my friends and I say things like “David Foster Wallace is the Radiohead of writers” and “LOST is the David Foster Wallace of television” and “Pad see ew is the LOST of dinners,” &c. What are some things you love?
Cheers,
Kim
(Phil and Colin sit in the parlor)
Phil: Knock, knock.
Colin: Who’s there?
Phil: Knock, knock.
Colin: Who’s there?
Phil: Knock, knock.
(Thom shuts of dictaphone. Walks to Nigel Godrich, who is standing in a corner painting.)
Nigel: it’s a good beat, but could use more punch.
(Thom nods and walks back to Phil and Colin. Phil is researching farmer’s markets. Colin is looking out the window.)
Thom: he says it needs more punch.
Phil: Phil
Colin: Collins
(Thom nods and goes back to Nigel. Nigel laughs. Phil Collins is sleeping somewhere, probably not his grandmother’s sofa).
